Do You Care If You Die Using Drugs? Or Do You Care When Your Family Has to Bury You?

DO YOU CARE IF YOU DIE USING DRUGS?

Or do you care that your family has to bury you?

I love somebody right now who's choosing the drugs. And their family already cried all the tears they had. Some of y'all done gave up on them — I get it. Loving an addict will break your heart in places you didn't know could break.

But let me ask you something real.

If you died tonight — overdose, bad batch, whatever — who finds you? Who gets that 3 AM phone call? Who has to pick the casket, write the obituary, explain to your babies why mama or daddy ain't coming home?

Your family.

They're the ones who'll stand over that hole in the ground crying — while the drugs you chose over them don't even show up to the funeral.

I'm not judging you. I've loved people in this fight. But somebody's gotta tell you the truth, because everybody else done got tired of talking:

YOU STILL GOT TIME. Right now, reading this — you're still breathing. That means God ain't done with you.

WEN U LUV YOUR LIFE, YOU CHOOSE IT EVERY DAY.

If you're fighting this battle, reach out to somebody today. Call your mama. Call a friend. Walk into a meeting. Do something.

And if you love somebody in this fight — send them this page. You never know whose life a share might save.

No man, no woman, no child goes hungry — and nobody has to die forgotten.
